We are here to aid your child's communication and learning journey.
At The Beaches Reading, Speech and Language Clinic, we specialise in personalised speech, literacy and language therapy for children from birth to 17 years. Tracey, an experienced Speech Pathologist & Special Educator, ensures each child receives the best care tailored to their needs.
Our flexible services include in-clinic, Telehealth, and on-site visits to schools and daycare centres. Tracey helps toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children improve their communication and literacy skills, all without needing a GP referral.

Toddlers & Late Talkers
If you’re concerned about your child’s language skills or intelligibility, Speech Pathology can help.
Is your child using words or pointing and vocalising? Do strangers understand your child’s communication attempts? Are they reasonably intelligible?
Tracey is certified as a Hanen It Takes Two To Talk interventionalist.
Preschoolers
To maximise your child’s school readiness, Tracey offers support in language, speech intelligibility and pre-literacy skills, with an individualised and engaging program to help your preschooler become school-ready.
School-Aged Children
As a language and literacy specialist, Tracey is well-positioned to work with school-age children who are struggling at school with their reading, writing, language and/or spelling. Tracey is also highly regarded as a dyslexia interventionist, both in the diagnosis and remediation.
Our Assessment Process
A Step-By-Step Approach
Assessments are essential to understand your child's unique needs and typically require 1-2 appointments. This process includes:

History
Case history discussion including medical, language, social history and developmental history including any previous diagnosis.

Testing
Testing using both standardised and/or informal assessments to assess areas of concern.

Feedback
Feedback will be provided at the end of the assessment, followed by a written report.

Collaborate
If requested by families, further feedback will be provided to other professionals you’re involved with including doctors, other allied health professionals, and/or teachers.
If you have a recent Speech Pathology report (less than 12-months), further assessment may not be required, and Tracey is happy to work with this report, following an in-depth discussion with carers, to set goals and commence therapy.

Tracey is a highly trained and empathetic professional who has been working in the disability sector since the 1990’s. She is committed to improving the lives of clients and their families, no matter their ability or background.
Tracey individualises therapy and focusses on strength-based learning, which incorporates each client’s interests.
